Trina Solar's newly upgraded integrated photovoltaic and energy storage system debuts at PV EXPO

At this exhibition, Trina Solar exhibited a full-scenario N-type product portfolio covering large-scale ground photovoltaic and storage integration power stations, industrial and commercial distributed photovoltaic and storage integration, and household rooftop photovoltaic and storage integration solutions. This product family is all based on the i-TOPCon Ultra technology released at the end of November last year, which can fully meet the needs of customers in different application scenarios and help build a more sustainable energy future.
It is worth mentioning that the small and medium-sized versions of Trina Solar's Supreme N-type products upgraded last year are not only suitable for Japanese distributed scenarios, but also have achieved significant performance improvements. The maximum power of the small version can reach 495W and the efficiency reaches 24.8%; the maximum power of the medium version product can reach 670W, the front efficiency is increased by 1.5%, and it has better installation flexibility and electrical compatibility.
Trina Solar continues to promote the development of clean energy in Japan with high-efficiency products. In August last year, the Japanese agricultural photovoltaic and storage integration project supplied by Trina Solar with Supreme N-type 720W series modules was officially put into commercial operation. It is expected to generate 2,700MWh of clean energy each year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1,760 tons. While helping the local carbon neutrality goal, it also promotes the sustainable use of local land resources and economic development.
On February 18, Trina Solar's energy storage division officially released the newly upgraded Elementa 2 Pro 5MWh energy storage system at the UK Energy Storage Summit. This system also received enthusiastic attention at PV EXPO. With more efficient system design and more reliable battery cell technology, Elementa 2 Pro fully takes local market demand into consideration and provides the Japanese market with a high energy density, high reliability, and more adaptable photovoltaic and storage integration system solution for multi-scenario needs, helping to improve the land utilization rate of energy storage sites, reduce operating costs, and increase full life cycle benefits.
Since the beginning of 2024, when Trina Solar's Elementa King Kong 2 energy storage products entered the Japanese market, their excellent performance and high adaptability have won high recognition. Recently, Trina Solar successfully delivered the first high-voltage independent energy storage power station project in Japan. Trina Solar not only provided a full set of large storage solutions but also assisted customers in integrating resources, including recommending EPC partners and photovoltaic and storage integration power station land plans. In addition, according to the personalized needs of customers, special business continuity plans (BCP) countermeasures for emergency situations have been added.
