Ammonia (NH3)
Ammonia (NH3) is a weakly alkaline corrosive gas.
In farm and pasture environments such as pig pens, poultry houses, cattle sheds and horse stables, higher concentrations of
ammonia in warm and humid environments have been found to have a corrosive effect on photovoltaic modules (especially aluminum frames).
The main sources of ammonia are fertilizers and animal excrement.
